📖 About IIT (BHU)
IIT (BHU) Varanasi, formerly Banaras Hindu University Institute of Technology, was granted IIT status in 2012. It is one of the oldest technical institutions in India, established in 1919. Located within the sprawling BHU campus, it combines heritage with modern education and is known for strong programs in Mining, Metallurgy, Ceramics, and Pharmaceuticals.
